It used to be when you went to the doctors complaining of fragile bones. The only explanation would be a fractured or broken bone. Today though with our advanced technology women are able to have more complete results with a densitometry or DEXA scan, which may help in preventing osteoporosis. Tests let you know if you have osteoporosis, or even if you’re at risk for Osteroposis because of broken bones.
